Hello again.

I faded away for awhile, but have returned again—for an indeterminate length, but I am here nonetheless.

Weeks (months, maybe…I can’t tell) have passed. Life has evolved and my perspective has changed in various ways.

On a related note, this article on OdeWire has been on my mind lately. I discovered it recently, nearly a year after its original publication. However, it is no less relevant now than it may have been at the time of its first online appearance; in fact, it seems strangely appropriate for me, given the particular strain of contemplation that seem to accommodate regularly these days.

The duality of light and dark is always a fascinating topic for reflection. These lines have a way of clinging to me:

When our hearts are most broken, they’re most open. It’s the openness that makes us whole. This is the way we become enlightened through the darkness.

The full article is certainly worth a look.
